Hello, I'm Amie!
(hear name pronunciation) My name means "friend" in French, and I'm always excited to develop new friendships with artistic collaborators. Thanks for taking a look around my site for highlights of my work, which ranges from stage to screen and a medley of settings in-between.
About Me:
Born and raised in Oregon, I caught the acting bug as a child working with my mom in commercials and taking acting classes at Portland’s Firehouse Theatre.
Me at 3 years old with my Mom and Dad in a commercial for Downtown Eugene, Oregon!
I’ve made my home on the East Coast since first studying Vocal Performance at Northeastern University in Boston. I received my MFA in Acting from Catholic University in Washington, DC, and I now reside in the New York area.
But my Oregon roots have stayed with me. In fact, I made a little film with my real-life sister Erin about sisters rediscovering their friendship in the town of Sisters, OR! Learn more about Sisters Bound.

The Seagull
"Amie Cazel beautifully delivers the angst and the hysteria of an actress who is terrified of getting old and losing her career and her lover, but maintains a poised and sarcastic facade. She succeeded in embracing both the classical tension of Chekhov’s play and the humorous tone of the modern rendition by Sarah Bennett." - On Stage Blog link
